Question by : How do chickens and turkeys manage to get along?
I know that a lot of people raise them together (in small groups), but I just wondered how the two types of birds managed to get along without fighting each other or getting in each other’s way.

  1. turkeys step over chickens because there way taller, and chickens wont attack turkeys because they know they’ll lose, just like in the wild, animals wont fight if they no there gonna lose.Plus a lot of people don’t realize but pet turkeys make great guard dogs, and protect chickens from predators because they puff up and chase after things.
