Burt’s Bees Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), Honey Bees Dying

Why are the bees dying? Why are honey bees disappearing from across the US? Well, Burt’s Bees (www.burtsbees.com is raising awareness about an environmental issue called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) to find out and help save the dying bees. Colony Collapse Disorder is the sudden dying of bees causing the whole honey bee colony to collapse leading to widespread disappearance of bees from our environment. While the exact causes for bee Colony Collapse Disorder are unknown, we do know that forces like habitat destruction, misuse of pesticides, invasive species and global warming create risks to honey bees. You can help make the planet a healthy place for bees. Sign up for a free packet of wildflower seeds to plant and give bees a healthy place to live in your neighborhood. We’re also providing access to support local organic farmers who naturally create pesticide-free, bee-friendly environments while providing local communities with healthy fresh produce. By saving the dying bees, we save a lot more than the bees. Be involved. For The Greater Good. www.burtsbees.com

  2. It is yet another U.N. and globalists Lie about the enviroment !!!. It is a naturally occurring event, that is being spun as some type of eviromental disaster. Where no disaster exists !!!.

  5. This is another perfect example of a phony enviromental crisis, that was hyped, exaggerated and lied about by the U.N., the governments, and their paid scientists …. Yes the honey bees did have die offs, but the cause of (and cure) for those naturally recouring die offs has been known for well over two hundred years. It is called “Foul brood”, and it is caused by a bacteria that can be effectually cleansed and disinfected from the hives.

  7. I heard a paradox theory that you shift from parallel reality to parallel reality million times a second and you attract those things you want in your reality.
So if you think that they will never die, they wont.
If you think something good will happen in 2012 it will.
And didnt you hear the protests around the world?
4 days ago in Honk Kong over million people protested against government.
The system will fall if we the people continue like this. 🙂

  12. Now that it’s owned by Monsanto, it’s very unlikely that Beeologics will investigate the links, but genetically engineered crops have been implicated in CCD for years now. Monsanto’s Mon810 corn, genetically engineered to produce a synthetic version of the insecticide Bt, has been banned in Poland following protests by beekeepers

  13. Poland is the first country to formally acknowledge the link between Monsanto’s genetically engineered corn and the Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) that’s been devastating bees around the world, but it’s likely that Monsanto has known the danger their GMOs posed to bees all along. The biotech giant recently purchased a CCD research firm, Beeologics, that government agencies, including the US Department of Agriculture, have been relying on to discover answers.

  16. Monsanto needs to be shut down and just so everyone knows, they’re buying bee research companies so they can control the blame from themselves.

  24. We need to change our common sense.
Insects are edible and more efficient in terms of nutrition, thus there is no need to use agricultural chemicals.
If vegetables are damaged, farmers hunt insects and bring them to supermarket instead.
