Question by Kayden H: is it legal to have chickens or ducks in your backyard in the Atlanta suburbs with a HOA?
my neighbors have some in their backyard and its frustrating bc there is a dog that is in the neighborhood and they think its ours and it bothers their chickens or ducks or whatever and they complain to us

  1. Not sure about Atlanta..most cities allow you to have a few but there is a limit….is it almost duck season?? Maybe the dog will eat em…problem solved. Just tell em the dog is not yours!!

  2. I don’t know about Atlanta, but I do know their property must be zoned for livestock. If not, then technically, they are not allowed to have chickens, ducks, pigs, etc.
But, if they really love their little chickens or ducks, just let them know once and for that it is not your dog, and leave the situation alone.

    Hope this helps. 🙂
