Love your garden boxes! I’ve been having the green thumb syndrome (lol) lately too and enjoying gardening as well! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to watching more of your videos 🙂
Handy, yes. But since he’s out of state 5 days a week it can be difficult to squeeze projects into his schedule. Perhaps I’ll have to take a cue from you all and hire someone. Or, perhaps I will try tackling it myself. Now THAT would be a funny video!
Ha ha! Sounds like you have a “handy hub”. My husband’s good at getting projects done….after he hires someone to do them that is! 🙂 And THIS he would totally admit to! .LOL
Thanks for the quick response, Donna. I didn’t know there was a SFG Foundation. I am going to check it out. Just looking at kits and pvc pipe solutions. Looks like a job for the hubs! Looking forward to your next installment. 🙂
My very first Square Foot Garden video “Donna’s Square Foot Garden Part 1 of 50, shows how I tied in an irrigation system to the SFG. However, I think I saw on the SFG Foundation website drip irrigation solutions for the boxes. I am not sure hoe good they are… might be worth a try! Thanks so much for checking out my videos!!
Yep, that’s me. I’m only in my second year of SFG but as of today I already have 4 4×12 and 3 4×4 SFG, plus a huge herb bed by the house. I am planning to expand to 6 4×12 and 4 4×4’s this this year. Today I started to wonder how I would keep up with watering everything. I was wondering if you have an irrigation system or if you hand water your garden. I think I am going to need a solution in a hurry. Would love to see a video on how you keep it all watered. Blessings!
Hi Donna. Do you miss your old raised bed garden? Or do you prefer your current layout? Personally, I miss your old “extremely organized” raised beds. You made me so jealous. But, I like your new garden and the fact that we get to see you as you take us through your garden. Good luck this season and keep the videos coming.
Good evening, my name is Dora and I have GOCD. LOL. Now I have a name. You must have seen my zip lock bag of 14 kinds of green beans! And the new tub I bought today! Love the list of side effects, too. Thank you for identifying my “disorder” (cause it must not be “normal” since no one else on my block is doing ANYTHING.
