Friends of the Farms – A day with Joel Salatin

Fundraising event for the non-profit – Friends of the Farms on Bainbridge Island. Joel Salatin from Polyface Farms educated us about family farming and eating naturally. He joined us for lunch at Heyday Farm and then a speech at BPA. Joel is most famously known as the farmer on Michael Pollan’s Omnivore Dilemma and the movie Food Inc. Joel’s most recent book – “Folks, This Ain’t Normal” was the topic of discussion throughout the day.
