This dairy is realy called a 20 aside swing over.To be right….
we installed a 6×6 de laval acr parlour on our small dairy farm milking about 80 in an hour and a half, dramatic change from the old machine which took us about 3-4 hours
20/40 I think with a.c.r’s…had a 20/40 in Kent with no a.c.r. .s, 1 man milking, lots of cows over milked! we now have a 12/24 with a.c.r.s, 1 man milking no feed in parlour, it’s great and the cows are happy…. checkout my you tube site..
Nice video, they were obviously the first 2 rows as no shit. What’s happened to pre milking routine, straight onto udders with not so much as a wipe. I have a 24 x 24 computer linked with auto record and yield monitors.
only ever milked in a automatic cluster remover system once, mighty job a big change from da system of puttin dem on and of. Saves so much time. 80 cows milked in 35 minutes wen i did it
Well, you’ve done it again. Fascinating. The clusters coming off reminds me of our time on a Dutch farm, where I had to look sharp that a cluster didn’t catch me right round the left ear! Interesting that the clusters seem to do for both sides – on the Dutch farm each side had its own. And a milk jar, too, so perhaps an older set-up?

Ah, in that case it is a 20:40.
The first part of the number is how many units there are.
The second part of the the number is how many places there are.
