Question by : what is the nutritional content of fruit peels that is nutritious for ducks?
so… my friend and i are having problems with what to feed the ducks that my mom gave me for my bday. i dont want to kill them, so i decided to raise them. but i dont know what to feed them.

my friend says i should feed them fruit peels and uncooked rice, but i’m not sure… he’s raised ducks before and he says they eat those but…

are they healthy for ducks? and if they are, what is the nutritional content of those? please specify the fruit peel.

thanks.

  1. Fruit peel has no nutritional value to Ducks whatsoever.(is he/she saying feed them orange peel Duck “a la orange”?)

There are plenty of good grains and Duck feed on the market, Wheat ,Cracked Maize, Pellets.

Do not feed uncooked Rice for one good reason it is far more expensive than the foods mentioned and to what purpose it would serve them?Rice is a bulk feed and not much good for anything else.
