Aquaculture 101 | Teacher Workshop

Dr. David Cline discusses Aquaculture 101, a teacher workshop designed to train educators how to use aquaculture as a tool for teaching science and math in the classroom. The 5 day workshop will be hosted at the EW Shell Fisheries Center at Auburn University. Teachers will participate in activities like dissecting fish, learn about water quality, experiment with recirculating aquaculture systems, and get lots of hands on opportunities to work with the fish. Most importantly, the workshop will make the connection between state teaching standards and aquaculture activities.
