The disgusting treatment of dairy cows and their calves! Dairy cows are the hardest worked farm animals. and mothers. The only reason they produce milk is to feed their calves… but we steal their milk and deprive their calves of the love and affection, security that is their right as living, breathing creatures. They suffer abuse, neglect, illness. Separated from all the calves they give birth to. Dairy cows living in a happy healthy environment can live for up to 25 years. But because of their hard lives, they are worn out by 4 or 5 years old. They will be sent to slaughter, where many cannot even stand up anymore. They are filled with fear, as they smell the blood of others who have had their throats cut, and struggle to escape when they hear the cries of the other cows. An absolute gruelling life and gruelling death, all inhumane and cruel. Cows are sensitive, and are sentient creatures, they deserve respect and compassion. These farm animals are the forgotten ones, i feel so hurt that there is no human compassion for them, and it is taken for granted they are just milk machines. They feel love, fear, comfort, and grief. As we do. Cows are extremely gentle and affectionate animals. They form strong bonds with one another, particularly between mother and child. “The very saddest sound in all my memory was burned into my awareness at age five on my uncle’s dairy farm in Wisconsin. A cow had given birth to a beautiful male calf…On the second day after birth, my uncle …
My stepdad grew up on a dairy farm, nd most of our family friends run dairies. What most people dont understand is that these cows are restricted so lil land, is cause people themselves are selfish and create buildings and own land never used to just waste away. also, our money and profit is very restricted. people ask for so much, nd our farmers work their butts off for everything they have. medicine is not cheap, and im not saying this video is okay. but just look at how most farms are good.

I worked on a dairy farm all through high school and this video is completely ridiculous. Dairy cows by nature require some of the most care of any farm animal. These are not cattle. Also, to not use artificial ensemination, you need to facilitate reproduction with the bulls who are EXTREMELYaggressive and kill many farmers each year,i dont like to even go near them. Libtards who makevideos like this have never worked with the animals but think they know everything about them, just like with war

Most Dairy Cows are not raised in lots, unless you are in colorado or some place like that. I work on a farm of 1600 milking head with around 500 calves under 1 year old, maybe more. They are all taken care of, given shots, and fed the proper feed they need. The calves get new bedding every 2 days, along with clean milk or water along with pellets. Open your eyes and look at both sides of farming

ok I live on a natral farm diffrent then indutral and you need to get some things set for the recored if you just got dropped on the ground from a five foot fall you would not stand right away. it takes about two ours for a calf to stand on their own and that is a very wobbly prosses. so for you to say the bull calfs are left for dead is a bold face lie because dariy cow calfs are worth 500 to 600 A peice. and one more thing you can tell that calf was all ready dead upon birth

Couldn’t watch it all, disgraceful. Some people should be put down before they inflict this sort of cruelty on animals

at 2:10 the man is trying to save both the cow and calf’s lives. the cow cant push it out on its own (just like some people) so you have to pull it out The calf didn’t die from the fall because that’s how it always happens after you pull it out, this 1 just happened to be dead while still in the womb. Calves are taken so the cow can be milked and not bond with the calf and then kill us, not to make it prego as soon as possible again. In the wild when they become inheat the immediately breed to

cows are cute… These people are just raised to treat the animals like they weren’t alive, you can still make money without having to treat them this crappy…

Es vergonzoso el maltrato de esos animales, recordemos que nosotros también somos animales pero racionales cosa que en esté vídeo se demuestra que las vacas son más racional que los de la granja, que vergüenza.

So…
To all those people who thinks everything you see in this video is disgusting treatment ask yourself:
How would YOU do to make anything different and still supply the world with milk and get an economic profit??

I agree. Sad for the animals on these farms, even more sad when the the things called “vegans” putting up videos like this to make them feel better while they are eating the grass supposed to be for the cows!

So the reason why the milk industry is like this today. To start off, humans and our population is our problem. not the farmers. Then the economy. In the old times there were more farms but less animals. Now we cant do anything about it as more and more ppl want to live in big cities and towns and more wants milk. The farms will be less but bigger. That simple!
“disgusting treatment” is the effect of what I mentioned on SOME farms. And most modern farms gives more comfort than farms 30 yrs back.

Same in Sweden. And in Europe hormone drugs are illegal for higher milk production.
The video maker and the rest of the ignorant bastards should start to do some support for this “problem”.. a problem not existing on every farm! I’d tell you. back in time the animals were not even loose in the farm. they were leached into slots.. why? because there was no such a system to make the cattles roam free and produce milk. Even the old fashion way provide free roaming outside on the summer – continued

Well, maybe if quantity gets replaced with quality in America things will improve. Its not too many people to feed, but producers/business owners are too greedy to care. Oh and it would help eating less too, most people here eat for three. I am sad every day, not just for a day, just don’t know where to run. America has infected every country in the world.

What the fuck is wrong with these fucking people? They should be arrested for this sort of thing! They shouldn’t be allowed to use that machine to pick up the cows or to get them up and moving! They don’t understand! The cows are not lazy, they are seriously injured. So much, that they can’t even stand up or get up!

Well at least these cows are loving mothers, they try and they try to keep their calves safe and they even go after their calves if they are getting taken away. Those mothers are more than what those people will ever be even if they try to change…

Hey now. Don’t lump all Americans into a generalized group of animal hating sadists. It’s bad enough our Gov’t does whatever it wants and allows these horrible acts to continue. It’s not my fault my country has been led into oblivion by greedy corporations and corupt politicians. It’s not my fault America’s education system is so bad that people are dumb enough to even act this way. It’s not my fault my country is leading our world into a black whole of death and destruction. Don’t blame me.
