Question by : can someone with a milk allergy eat goat products?
I have a friend coming to stay whose son has a milk allergy, can he eat goat products, goats milk, cheese etc? we already use soya instead of cows milk but i have been told cooking with goats milk can give a creamier tastier result.

No. goat mill it realy like cow milk and i suggest you not give it too that kid.
Soya milk is the selution.

Everyone is different so to be on the safe side I would either just stick with the soya or/and ask your friend what he can have.
My father and myself are both allergic to cows milk, butter and cheese, we can both have goats milk and butter however we both get the same allergic reaction to goats cheese as we do with cows cheese. So as I said earlier, ask your friend, not strangers.

A person with milk allergy can be reactive to one of dozens of the proteins within milk. These proteins vary between species so you won’t necessarily have the same reaction from goats milk as you get from cows milk and lots of people use it as an alternative with no problems
Rice milk, soy milk, oat milk, coconut milk and almond milk are sometimes used as milk substitutes
