17 Responses to Where does Wind Power come from? Climbing Inside a Wind Turbine
Anyone who Hires Steve Slack obviously doesnt know what they are doing. That guy is a real piece of shit.
Free? Wind? Those things are expensive, last I heard there wasn’t a single one in existence that hadn’t been subsidized or put in place without mandatory federal or state regulation. Take away subsidies and mandates and I doubt there would be a single turbine running. Tell this to the people of Cape Cod Piece. Tell that to the late Ed Kennedy, tell that to the bird freaks. What about the steel, fibre glass, concrete and plastic (oil/gas) used to manufacture said behemoth?
The efficiency of wind turbines has been proven. Many countries are patronizing wind energy since it is clean, free and safe. It’s beneficial to everybody. Our energy consumption are getting out of control because of the many inventions that were developed. Wind turbines can be of help to provide an additional power supply.
She didn’t climb 270 in 6 minutes. Impossible. The dude said he did though

Now that gives a little perspective of how big those turbines really are! To bad it was cloudy! I would love to see the blades & view from that height!
