  1. Exactly the same as MEAT goats….& all the herbivores=plant material.

  2. Goats are reputed to be willing to eat almost anything, except tin cans, and cardboard boxes. While goats will not actually eat inedible material, they are browsing animals, not grazers like cattle and sheep, and (coupled with their natural curiosity) will chew on and taste just about anything resembling plant matter in order to decide whether it is good to eat, including cardboard and paper labels from tin cans. Most farmers feed them hay and grain.

  3. What do they eat or what should you feed them? Dairy goats eat hay, preferably good alfalfa, and as much as they’d like. They also get a grain mix and each producer feeds a bit different mix and in differing amounts. Many feed grain in an amount depending on how the goat milks. Goats also need lots of very clean water and a good mineral/salt mix with copper.
Goats will also use some pasture but are browsers not grazers. They love taller plants and woody plants.
