Question by awesomeness: Allergic to bees- family member wants to start beekeeping?
What if you are allergic to bees but a family member wants to start beekeeping and the person who is allergic has a fear of bees?

  2. I think you really need to say something about this decision NOW! If you’re allergic, you’ll never be able to go outside in your own yard again.

  3. well gee, you can get desensitizing shots every week at the doctor’s office, or you can tell the loving family member to find a different hobby and stop being such a jerk.

  4. You could tell him/her no or you can just live with it (i don’t mean that meanly) and stay away from the bees.

  5. The “RN” isn’t quite as informed as she should be, allergic reactions to bees aren’t like regular allergies to flowers or cats, you don’t desensitize to anaphelactic shock, it can kill you. Tell the family member to not get the bees or to move out.
