Hi I am going to start a worm farm and I wanted to know since I am not looking to spend $ 40 on red worms if I can A find them, or B can I just simply try and use the worms you can buy at bait stores. Any help is appreciated thank you!

    it was tiger worms i got from a bait store

  2. any live bait store worms will work fine, or just dig up some crawlers in the garden, or some places like bass pro shop or cabelas will sometimes sell bait worms in quantities upto 500 for the same price per dozen we pay in washington state but if nothing else when you do buy some to go fish just dump the left overs into the farm bin and feed them coffe grounds and any other compost and it will be a 2 fold result
    1 you have steady supply of bait
    2 compost for the garden
