Question by C L: Are chickens legal to keep as backyard pets in Cypress Texas?
I would like to know if chickens are ok to keep in my backyard as pets in Cypress, TX. I was looking around the net about regulations and could not find any.

The best way to find out is to call city hall and ask about the regulations for your town.
Many small towns and cities are allowing people to keep one or two hens for egg production as long as they are well kept and do not bother the neighbors.
