@nicholasbhicks eggs are often small when the chickens just begin laying. they’ll grow larger and as the chickens become more experienced 🙂

my chickens just started laying. ive found 3 eggs in 4 or 5 days but there smaller than there supposed to be and 1 was broke

@kmal2624 It’s a common misconception that all eggs house fetuses. I don’t have any roosters, so all of my hens lay unfertilized eggs. Much like a woman sheds an egg every month during her menstrual cycle, a hen will shed (or lay) an egg once every couple days as part of her reproductive cycle.

@sethnelson100 Hey! I’m not vegan, but I am conscious not to eat animals products produced in factory farms… that’s why I raise my own chickens for eggs 🙂
