Question by Iva M: I live in South east europe, Macedonia, I want to move to the Caribbean, how do I do that?
I have been searching ‘job’ sites and posted my resume sent cv’s to what I thought were relevant institutions.. Is it possible that there is no employment opportunity in the Caribbean for an MSc in Organic Agriculture… just grauated last october in Italy. I really need some specific direction… anyone?

  1. Have you had a look at http://www.workinthecaribbean.com you never know…your qualification is very specific. I know that the local Supermarket here in Grand Cayman – Kirk Supermarket (a big company in the Cayman Islands) has their own farm they may be interested in your skills as Organic products are ever increasing in demand and with fuel costs rising everyday they are trying to improve the local agriculture…also the Government here in Cayman is trying to develop agriculture on the island with sponsored projects and a huge agriculture centre being developed called, The Grounds – contact http://www.gov.ky/portal/page?_pageid=1142,1593223&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL for futher information…in addition take a look at http://caymanfarms.com/default.aspx good luck finding workinthecaribbean!
