  3. No. But if your cat has worms you should treat it.

It would be best if you were to worm your cat.

  7. The only way to get tapeworms from your cat is by ingesting them. Very rarely has this ever happened accidentally. Make sure you take your cat to the vet for treatment because the worms will eat all the nutrients from the cat’s food and the cat can get very sick.

  8. No, only if you eat her poo, and drink from the same water dish as her.

  9. You would have to ingest the eggs of the worms, which is possible if your pet poops and then lays on your bed or pillow. Also if your pet poops in the grass and then you go roll around in the grass, even if you pick up the poop, the worm eggs can stay in the dirt. Although, it isn’t very common to catch worms from your pets but it can happen. Be very careful. Take your pet to the Vet as soon as you can. Your cat can can get very sick and be in a lot of pain. The worms drain blood and nutrients from your pets. Hope this helps.

Get the cat treated for the correct parasite (have the vet do a fecal exam). Don’t worry about getting the worms yourself unless the cat curls up on your pillow with his butt to your face.
