  15. Great video! Can’t imagine what it would be like to see one of these from
the top of the tower. One question, do you know what the power consumption
(oil heater, deicers, lights, etc.) of a typical wind turbine such as this
is when there is no wind? Thanks for any information on that.

  21. I never knew these were so complex inside!
I thought it would be a blade, connected to a drive-shaft and to a
generator. Maybe a few regulator circuits.
I had no Idea they would have a lift, and lights etc inside! Could almost
    live in one of them!

  22. Why do you need to use safety gear to go up those tiny ladders? Is it
    another unnecessary government regulation?

  24. Cheaters have elevators, we actually have to climb our 80m towers. Also,
the money you make depends on the company you work for and the actual
    position you’ll be filling.

  25. Cristian the money is not good, I went for an interview with this company,
the wage range was 28-34K, I was then told it was 28K, 20 hrs average
unpaid overtime, no site amenities, no planned yearly wage increase!!!!
