This is pretty cool Ed. Will it heat as fast as you run water through?
@russia101 Yes It Will heat the water 10 – 20 degrees constantly with the
water turned on full. It won’t heat it as hot like a hot water instant on
system. What you see in the video is the system heating it up that amount
during normal operation. Yesterday it got as hot as 150 degrees before I
turned on the pump and for a few minutes, the water was scalding hot. I put
my hand in front of the hose to verify it wasn’t a faulty temp gauge. OUCH.
nice ED, yeah i built one like this but pex inside popcans, got like 12
degree rise but i was pushing 350 gph but it was restricted so more like
100gph or so,with a walmart 12v bilge pump thru like 50ft of pex covered
with pop cans, so i dont know how fast u are pushing yours…i figured my
pool was 2000 gallons so at 350gph it would take about 10 hours or a couple
days to cycle the pool one time and get maybe 8 or 9 degree rise cause you
loose some to air above the pool etc. good job man!
