  1. I am growing in soil, i have less light, just have a really basic set up
that didn’t really cost me anything because i already had bought the light
before for $89, and won a smaller t5 grow light before, and i am doing so
    much better than your hydroponics.

  2. Isn’t it expensive or difficult to grow a garden in hydroponics system? I
really don’t have a courage to create like this but you inspired me a lot.
Your ideas are very challenging and I can’t wait to see my own set up the
soonest. Let me share this post!

  3. Yeah we use it outside, but on Hydro is it effective to deal with say
fungus gnat which seems to be our biggest pest.

  5. Are you not spending an excessive amount of money on vegetables which do
not cost a lot to buy. Surely you should be concentrating on exotics.

  6. I grow what I eat, and mostly experimental until I nail the process and can
do it more affordable and much higher quality than what you can buy in the
    store. Thanks for watching ;)-

  12. Those racks are $25 each from the manufacturer in suburban Chicago. They
are returns but I bought 8 of them and they are like new. Same ones at
Menards in the midwest. Edsal Mfg company. I had a messenger deliver all 8
for about $35. Killer deal and nice people. Might be worth a drive for some
    of you.

  16. Nice setup. I’m growing kale in rock wool in my beds too. Mine are in the
greenhouse and they do have some algae on them out there. Chuck

  17. Nice unit setup. I’ve been trying to find ways to drop hydro into places
that aren’t used around the house. The one thing I have been concerned
about is things like Fungus Gnat. We had a poinsettia a few years back that
was infested with eggs and a week or so after we had it home it totally
bombed us with gnats. At best we have them under control. Bug Bombs, taking
out all soil and the best is that they don’t show up every day. Have you
    had much trouble with bugs?

  21. when you plant your peach tree, you can try fan-training. It is a series of
pruning and tying of branches flat against a wall or fence. Golden jubilee
or reliance are good varieties in colder regions.

  24. Hey, your videos made me want to grow peppers so I started to grow a lot of
different varieties of them. Do you have any suggestions on how to
pollinate the peppers with the same variety so that their seeds make the
same generation off spring? I’m worried that all the different varieties
will cross pollinate so I will have to buy new seeds every year. Thanks in
    advance!

  25. Very cool video. We have had a ton of rain in Texas too and more is coming.
I watched a video on another channel in which he made a raised garden bed
on a table for one his handicapped friends so she could grow some edible
greens for herself. 🙂 – Heidi
