25 Responses to How to Make Banana Bread From Scratch – Recipe by Laura Vitale – Laura In The Kitchen Episode 54
I made this today, infact a couple of hours ago. Just added Walnuts.
Divine!!! My best Banana bread made so far. Thank you sooooo much Laura.
You are the best.
i loved it, It is delicious, so easy to make it, your videos are so easy to
follow love your recipes , my husband and I loved this we added chocolate
chips and pecans.
Hi Laura, how many grams is your 1 stick of butter? Here is 227gr. Can i
somehow replace butter with oil? (Just incase i dont have butter in hand).
Thx in advance
For years I’ve had a go-to banana bread recipe but last night I thought “I
wonder if Laura has a recipe for banana bread?”, and you did! So I made it
with some toasted walnuts and it is absolutely delicious! Really moist..
Just had a slice that I toasted and slathered with the maple butter. About
the maple butter though, mine turned out kinda..weird. I mixed it with a
fork and it separated. It’s not becoming “one” with the maple syrup! hehe
well in any case, it’s still really tasty. This will now be my go-to
recipe!

A little bit of a stupid question perhaps, but can we use the exact recipe
but using a different fruit instead of bananas?

I only have an 8 inch by 4 inch loaf pan, so what do you recommend I change
the baking time to? And should I change the oven temperature?
Thanks!
