  1. The drawback to hydroponics is you must shop for “plant food” or nutrition
    and supplements which are high-priced.

  5. Was wondering when using the Miracle Grow also the others types did you
re-add every 2 weeks. I know on the package when applying this to the dirt
plants it is suggested to re-apply twice a month. Or did you just add at
the beginning of the planting? Loved your videos..

And what do you use on your tomatoes and squash ??

  12. hey there, i have a simple question about the masterblend in this
expirement…… did you use the masterblend 4-18-38 straight out of the
bag or did you added Epsom salt and calcium nitrate……. if yes then what
    was the ratio..

  13. I’m having trouble with my tomato leave’s on top turning yellow. They are
being grown in a hydroponic system. I’m using your mix and had good lock
with it. the rest of the plants are doing good. I can’t figure it out.

  19. I tried hydro and the ph was always off with the so called organic blend
from advanced nutrients and plants died plus its not quite worth the money
unless you grow a valuable crop…yea. However has anyone been able to grow
organically with no ph problems (organic ph buffer?) and have good results
    like in this video?

  20. In a soil less mix, a hydro fertilizer would probably do ok. With any
amount of decent soil in a container, the bacteria could multiply rather
quickly, so I think the urea would do the job.

  22. That is true. The little lettuce didn’t look too bad, until you compared it
with something else. On a cost basis, the commercial hydroponic fertilizers
are very cheap…. little goes a long ways.
