Question by chuck: Starting a Hydroponics garden?
Is there an informational website that gives tips on starting your own hydroponics garde, preferrably form scratch? I dont want an expensive kit, just want to know how to construct my own.

  1. You can try this site.

But honestly, do a search on the weed growing forums. They are very innovative and knowledgeable because they do this all the time.

For your basic hydroponics garden all you really need is something to hold your growing medium, a tank for the water nutrient, an air stone and pump for the nutrient water and a submersible water pump for the ebb and flow system if that’s the setup you choose.

If you’re doing it indoors, you’ll also need grow lights and an air fan to replenish the air in the room.

Other than that you can be as creative as you like. It can be as simple as a couple of plastic containers and a hose or as elaborate as your pocket or imagination will take you. If you just want to do it yourself, you can probably find everything you need at your local bib box hardware store.
