They do, I have eaten water buffalo many times when working in places like
Egypt, It is not that good, It looks better walking than it does on a
plate……lol

Amazing and to think it happens that ofter. I liked the buffalo they looked
so fat and healthy.

-with all the pork, chicken, and fish you see everywhere in Thailand, it’s
surprising to see the cattle. Most Thai I know don’t even eat beef.

Both cows and buffalo are going for a good price right now, I have no idea
how the price is set but for the last 6 months it has been a sellers
market. We sold a small cow last month for 26,000, Last year it would have
been 16 or 17……I wish I had a lazy boy..lol Thanks for watching.

yes could be more profitable … but I guess the middle man has some
regular customers so he may sell much more easy cattles than it may happen
to You 😉 very intersting anyway, thanks for showing that market!

I really enjoy your videos and I wish I could be more like you. As I get
older the more I seem to live thru your vids and others on the net. Too
many hours just sitting in the lazy boy watching youtube. Where you always
seem out and about enjoying Thailand and what your area has to offer. It’s
been many years since I’ve been to an auction and I really have no idea
what the thai price should be for a good steer in Thailand or the U.S. but
35000 seems to be on the high side, may be a little farang

It was good, Interesting to see how it is done here, We always sell to a
middle man who takes the cows there to sell Now I know how it works I might
remove the middle man and take them there myself.

I know, Not much sold in the markets, Not the markets I have been to
anyway, A little more in the Muslim areas. I am thinking they must be
exported somewhere, Its not very good beef IMO anyway, That’s the reason I
give it a pass, We raise cows and I have no plans on saving one for the
freezer…..

lol, There were a few overloaded old pickup for sure, I like the guys that
walked the cows there…The might have walked for miles or maybe they
parked by the road and just walked in, I have no idea.
