  1. There is a much easier way. Just collect your egg shells. Put them in a
small plastic bag and hot the bag with a rolling pin or something heavy. It
smashes the shells up into small pieces in just a few seconds.

  3. Ive been using a little chopper which will pulverize my egg shells which I
give them. Recently I added some mellon rinds to my worm bin for the first
time and I just could not believe what they did to that. One week later and
the rinds are gone, man do they ever love that. I have around 2000 worms or
    more in 9gal tub.

  4. I hope it can help! I think I will do another video soon showing my
ultra-quick and easy way of preparing my kitchen scraps to feed to my
worms. My husband came up with the idea — he is great at streamlining
    processes!

  5. Great. Looking forward to it. Always a fan of streamlined processes. Tried
to blend misc scraps in my old blender but it wasn’t happening. I chopped
them in small bits instead ,, microwaved for a couple minutes to soften up
then tossed in small zip locks in the freezer.

  6. I’ve done that too! Wow, I’m glad I’m not weird for doing that. Someone
else that uses their bullet to powder egg shells makes me happy, LOL I like
your bin, Any instructions for how you made it?

  8. I got 2 blenders and a food processor from garage sales, they work awesome.
I do a mixture some food I don’t break down with the blender others I just
let go for long term reserve food supply for the worms. Looks like you just
shown me what I can do with my solar oven 🙂
