Joel, you impressed the hell out of me. Your doing it the right way. I’m
looking to get a small farm and you sir are my role model. I want to do
what your doing on a smaller scale with the same animals as well as raising
catfish and aquaponically raising produce and a small orchard.

this is what i call real chickens, eating bugs and grass just like it was
design to be. Once you have tasted organic chickens there is no turning
back, the meat quality is just incredible

Two rocks stars in their fields. Glad to see Mercola & Salatin together!
Personal health is absolutely dependent on the health of the biosphere.
Thanks for continuing the inspiration.
Are you a farmer? This is a very interesting area. Are you familiar with
the work of Allan Savory. It appears Salatin has based some of his approach
on Savory’s work. /watch?v=vpTHi7O66pI
Yep. He celebrates ‘the chicken-ness of the chicken’. I strongly encourage
every Dr. Mercola fan to watch all of Joel Salatin’s YouTube videos. This
is not merely a nice idea, it’s important. The concepts Joel Salatin have
developed and perfected are not just about managing a farm, they can truly
be life saving… given our fragile economy.

I am seeing more and more of these kinds of farms. And like the comment
above, Joel is so healthy compared to many modern farmers. Those chemicals
and gmo crops have to be taking their toll on the average farmer’s body not
just their land.

I wonder who are those 5 who didn’t like this video? Tyson’s slaves? Joel
is real american hero. Not the ones who bombing innocent people around the
world. I bet his IQ much, much higher then those monkeys on the hill of DC.

Michigan recently passed a law allowing for chicken farming basically
anywhere. People are growing chickens inside the city limits of Detroit. As
they tear down whole blocks of houses there, lots of land opens up to
farming.
