Hiving my first package of honey bees. This is quite the experience the first time you do it!

did you remove the sugar plug, or the cap covering the sugar plug? Also you should leave the container they came in near the hive so they can find their way in.

@MobileCabinWorks No I misspoke, I only removed the cap and allowed the bees to eat through the plug. Good catch!

I think that’s the red winged blackbird call? I haven’t seen guinea fowl around here.
