The earthbox is filled with an approved Potting Mix or Potting Soil.
Basically its mostly peat moss plus perlite or vermiculite.

that rez gets way too hot for hydroponics in florida, warm water = root
rot, even in cooler climates in the summer you wanna use a chiller or burry
your rez, and allways use hygrozyme….. just some tips…..
I always learn so much watching your videos. Very interesting!

In this system, it does not. He could set up some catch containers and then
pump it back into the tank. He has an automatic float that fills up the
tank when it gets low.

@growingyourgreens Thanks for specifying, I always thought peat moss wasnt
soil lol idk if Im more confused now or then! hahaha whatever, at any rate
I like that and I might try it this year. Thanks for responding.
Tripped me up too…I thought it was some sort of mayoral pendant or the
special growing crystal that he rubs on everything to make it grow. But
then it occured to me that the sound level was outstanding. I suspect it is
a microphone. A really stylish microphone. Not as groovy as those shoes
though.
HEy John I have watched a bunch of your videos now and they are great. Very
informative. In fact I live very near Pompano. But I just have two words of
advise if i may. Lavalier microphone.
Great video, John! Vertical gardening at home is really a great way to grow
the finest food in bulk. The Urban Farmer is really a great opportunity for
growers in Florida to garden all year-long since it offers different tools
for both indoor and outdoor gardening setup. All states should have a
similar sanctuary for growers!

Don’t these vertical containers that are so tall form different
microclimates on every side? one side gets morning sun while the opposite
side gets late afternoon sun. One side full sun while the other is shade, I
don’t know. I think it is confusing. Do they really work planting the same
plant on all sides?

Durham county NC won’t let you do this at your house. They say it “looks
commercial”. I tried it, the city shut me down. Facist pigs.

I love them. They are great. I recommend the Vibram Flow, as they have
thicker material and are more durable.
