Question by Maggie: Does this sound like a healthy day of eating?
I’m recovering from an eating disorder and slowly working towards it – I would love some feedback thank you!

My intake thus far~

– two cups of coffee w/ two tablespoons creamer

– hard boiled egg

– two baby cucumbers with three tablespoon hummus

– spinach salad with honey goat cheese, granny smith apple dices, and low fat poppyseed dressing.

And I feel SO full and like I should be done eating for the day, lol.

Iā€™m thinking about having a bag of popcorn seasoned up w/ cinnamon and my diet 25cal per cup Swiss Miss / hot chocolate later, but idk. What if I added some almonds to the popcorn too?

  1. You can easily have the popcorn and hot chocolate (plus, I think adding the almonds is a good idea — it adds essential nutrition and will help you feel more full and satisfied). Cinnamon, of course, doesn’t add any calories, but it is good for you, so sprinkle it on.

I don’t know anything about your body type or size, but that all sounds reasonably well balanced. I would try to add in some more colorful fruits or vegetables. The more colors you eat, the healthier you’ll be! (Seriously though! But food coloring doesn’t count. :P) Also, looks like maybe you could use some more protein? I don’t mean a lot, but maybe just a little chicken or tofu added to your salad. Just a suggestion.

  2. I think your diet sounds pretty good! You just made me hungry šŸ˜‰ anywaysss
The only thing that I want to say is that why did you drink 2 cups of coffee? I think one is enough but if you’re still hungry or thirsty try some lemonade or something without caffeine to be healthier. Otherwise good choice of a diet šŸ™‚

  4. I know increasing is hard but that is way too little. The average meal plan for a girl that isn’t even that active would be 2 cups of fruit 2 cups of vegetables 7 servings of carbs (+/-15g=1 serv) 6 ounces of meat protein 3 servings of dairy and 5 servings of fats(+/-9g=1serv)
