People always make the remarks that economic growth generates carbon-dioxide emissions and causes more waste. These problems are the main obstacles to sustained development.So what do you think?Is there other reasons that endanger our sustained development?

  1. Economic growth as it has been defined in the last century has certainly harmed the environment. Growth requires energy and our primary source of energy is to burn carbon-based fuels, releasing CO2 into the atmosphere.

    However, it is possible to develop an economy around sustainable growth, including renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, etc.
