Question by funny: Is it legal to have a pet goat in a suburban backyard?
I found a goat while I was driving home. I gues he wandered off a farm about 5 miles away. Anyways I put him in the back seat and brought him home. My mom doesn’t want me to keep him but I don’t care. So is it legal. And can goats eat beef? Cuz that’s what I’m gonna feed him today.
What do you think? Answer below!
no not at all. Keep him as a pet — it’s good luck

yes, goats are seen regularly hunting down cows and eating them.
note: stay in school and pay particular attention in biology class.

You obviously are not prepared to care for a goat.
It will be hard on the goat, possibly fatal. It may not be fatal for you, but you’ll lose a lot.
You’ve been warned.

It is different in every city and town. If you live in one of those places with cookie-cutter houses that mandates the colour of the roofs of business, then it is likely illegal. If you live in the middle of nowhere or in a town with sane people, then there probably isn’t any regulation against it.

It would depend upon local zoning laws. It is possible but its also possible its illegal.
Goats are herbivores. They don’t eat meat (to my knowledge)

You appear to have a pretty good guess whose goat it LEGALLY belongs to, so do the right thing and take him home.
Obviously you do not know enough about goats to keep one.
It depends on where you live regarding the laws for livestock keeping. I don’t think you need bother finding out because you clearly don’t need to keep this one. Find his owner.

It is not legal to steal him, since you know the farm it came from.
