@rakenbake22 You need to spend a good long lifetime in the backwoods of Kentucky. i was born and rised in here and i understand everything she says. just like everyone else i know i go to church and say my prayers every night. God loves everyone and i don’t think he wants you judgeing some lady’s song, just so you can feel above her.

sorry to just completely ruin your song, Miranda, but no where is the Bible is Jesus actually drinking wine. He consumes Grape Juice from Grape Vines, and the bible doesn’t do a very good job of making the distinction between wine and grape juice, being that it is nearly 2000 years old.

the reason you feel like people are attacking you is because they are, but they aren’t doing it without just reason. They are doing it because you say insulting things about the validation of other religions. Also, when you use such figures as 110% true, it just pisses people off, because there are people who have actually read the bible and found flaws, contradictions, and even absurdities that pastors tend to leave out of their sermons.

and please don’t take this as a “criticism”, but maybe as just some insight that I’m sharing with you :] question the things you believe and why you believe them. Otherwise, you are just following the teachings of those around you. It was scary for me to think about other possibilities besides the teachings of the Bible, but once I did, I realized how moronic the whole belief is. This is just my view, but it is grounded on actual evidence and studying of the Bible.

how is Christianity separate from other religions? they are all just simple belief systems. just because you put your faith in one of them doesn’t make it any better or more valid than other religions. I personally don’t adhere to any religious authorities or higher beings, and I’m doing just fine, if not better, than I was before I stopped going to church. I also find it funny how Christians get so defensive but can’t even recall half of the Bible, which is just a BOOK, by the way.

I figure that if we learn from our mistakes then I am going to make as many as I can. I am going to be a genius. Yes I get drunk occasionally and have a little fun. My personal belief is this, when you get on a cross and sacrifice your life for my sins you can judge me, until then you can accept me for me or just ignore me.
